Pisogne

This time, we’re taking you to the picturesque Lake Iseo and the charming town of Pisogne!
It’s the perfect idea for a day trip—the town is just 18 km away from our apartment. You can get there in about 20 minutes by car or an hour by public transport (with a transfer at Costa Volpino, Piano).
Pisogne is a place with an incredibly rich history. Since the Middle Ages, it has served as a key trading hub connecting the Valcamonica valley with the rest of the region. Today, it delights tourists with its unique setting—a place where the lake’s surface meets the Alpine slopes in spectacular fashion.
The heart of the town is undoubtedly Piazza Corna Pellegrini. This central square is surrounded by pastel-colored townhouses featuring distinctive arcades. Towering over it all is the impressive stone *Torre del Vescovo* (Bishop’s Tower), built around 1250! Be sure to plan a walk along the *Lungolago*—a scenic promenade skirting the shores of Lake Iseo, offering views of the surrounding mountains and the town of Lovere on the opposite bank.
During our last visit to Pisogne, we got incredibly lucky—we stumbled upon a gathering of vintage British cars! These classic vehicles blended perfectly with the historic architecture of this Italian town.
If you’re planning your next holiday at Vista Felice, make sure to add Pisogne to your "must-see" list!
